SoundWaters HarborFest 21: Saturday, August 28Ī celebration of Stamford Harbor, SoundWaters HarborFest is a full day of fun and educational activities on and next to the water to bring people down to the Harbor Point waterfront. We need volunteers to help on planning committees and also on the day of the event – on land and on the water (boaters and advanced skill kayakers) for this colorful, fun and festive event. All participants will be raising money to support scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to afford SoundWaters education programs. SoundWaters’ newest community fundraising event will welcome hundreds of kayakers and paddle boarders to paddle from Cove Island on Stamford’s east side to Boccuzzi Park on Stamford Harbor on the west side.
